Having taught tennis for over 25 years I still love what I do. The sport of tennis changes (techniques, equipment, training, etc.) evolving into something different every 5 to 8 years. I constantly challenge myself to stay current. Often, I am asked what level of player(s) do I enjoy teaching the most. And, often, before getting my answer out, the person will follow up with, “you probably enjoy coaching the tournament level players the most.” I say to them, “I have no favorite level; anyone wanting to learn, have fun and doing their best is tops on my list, no matter which level.”
