Joe Davis spent his childhood training in tennis under the tutelage of Tony Bujan, formerly the highest ranked professional tennis player to come out of the Coachella Valley, as well as training with his father who competed on the professional tennis circuit. Drawn to the energy and collaboration found in team sports, Davis was also highly active in baseball. At the age of 13, while a highly ranked junior player in the tennis arena, Davis' passion for the American pastime drew him away from the court and onto the field in pursuit of a career in baseball. He went on to play college baseball for Dakota State University and professionally for three years through the nation. After his retirement from professional baseball, he directed his time and efforts back to tennis. Drawing from his experiences in strength and conditioning, Davis is passionate about breaking down the mechanics of the game of tennis and building a strong foundation in all athletes - both professional and recreational. Davis is excited to join the Dial Jones Tennis Academy and looks forward to helping each client reach and surpass their athletic goals.
